John has over 37 year’s experience in the entertainment industry with deep experience in music production, recording processes, mixing, relationship-building and logistics planning.
After a career in the film industry, John opened his own film and audio production company in the San Fransisco Bay Area, CA producing commercials and feature films. John’s entrepreneurial and no-fear spirit lead him to build a 17,000+sf recording studio in Oakland, Studio 880, featuring three main recording studios and 22 production suites. During this time John made his name as a mix engineer/producer and enjoyed the role of music director for Wal-Mart's highly successful online concert series. John oversaw over 100 online concert productions as well as mixed concerts for artists including Beyonce, Faith Hill, Katy Perry and Blake Shelton.He also managed all studio operations and oversaw press junkets for Greenday including the recording sessions for Green Day's Warning, American Idiot and 21st Century Breakdown.
